Tinaysha White Photographic Truth Reflection

I was told to do a project on photographic truth. The steps I had to take were easy. Step 1 was to search on google for 6 images of a show, a movie, a special event or a historical event, step 2 was to put 6 of the images in Adobe Photoshop, step 3 was to take 6 picture, step 4 was to put each picture in each image and step 5 was to make it seem like you were in the event.

 The images I choose were evens from my favorite show. Image 1 is me covering my mouth, looking down while a girl was yelling, image 2 is a girl screaming while I’m covering myself to hush her, image 3 is me hanging a poster on a window while a girl is talking on the phone, image 4 is a girl screaming while I’m walking near her, image 5 is 2 girls walking in town while I’m way behind them and image 6 is me covering my mouth looking down while 3 girls are yelling. I added myself by going to file, tracing and cutting myself out the original picture and paste it to the image. I used a cut out edge to cut my pictures and I used coloring to make myself match he color of the images. I choose the themes from the bad girls club episodes of season 5. I choose these themes because the themes come from my favorite show. It shows that I like watching things that involve drama and that I’m a little dramatic myself.

 I’ve learned that some photos can look realistic, but cant really be real. Iv learned that you could add something to a real picture on the Internet. Yes because it was a good experience working on the project. I found it a little difficult, because I didn’t really know how to put my pictures behind certain parts of the images. I do think my creation was really looked like I was in the event of the bad girls club. There’s nothing I would change nor redo the assignment.

Lyrics Reflection

The assignment was to do a project about lyrics, the class and I had choose our favorite song and find images that match wit the song. My class and I was to work with Adobe Photoshop, just like we had to do with the magazine cover project.

The first part of lyrics was images of a famous couple Beyonce and JayZ-, a cupid above their heads, the background of a night sky, four hearts on the left side of the pages and the lyrics in the left corner. The second part of the lyrics is a couple kissing, a heart between them, a clock inside the heart and lyrics colored in light blue. The last lyrics has a couple next to each other, pink wings behind them, and one of the couples is wearing a silver chain with a heart on it. I mostly had to cut the images out and place the right ones in each lyrics.

I choose a song by Alicia Keys called Unthinkable, I listen to the song all the time. I used realistic images to show that the song is about love and that love is a real thing to the people who are ready for it. I also choose a couple of images to show an example of what the song is about.

My experience working with Adobe Photoshop was different from other Microsoft programs, because I’m more used to working with dell desktop and notebooks instead of Mac notebooks. I kind of did like it, it seemed real nice working with the images on it, but it got confusing when I had to edit certain things on my images. I don’t think my project was really all that good I tried m best to find the images that match with the song. If I had to do the assignment again I would try to find more images that would make my project look better

My name is Tinaysha, some people call me Millie ; this year Im a senior and Im going to be graduating in 2011. After i graduate i plan on moving to new york for a better life. Im a typical and nice girl; i like to change my style sometimes until i pick the right style i want to stick with. i love making new friends, im also a good friend as well, i like to bake goodie treats and have different flavors i like to eat, like vanilla, oreo, cookie dough and party cake, Russian tea cake, white and ice cream cake. i like to make milkshakes. i like to play video games, shopping, spending time with my friends, listening to music, i hate sports (i think its nasty), i still watch cartoons, i love the smell of acrylic, i like to watch scary movies, im always lazy but i get things done when there supposed to be done, i like to write stories, the best thing i like to do is sleep, and i like to think about my feature :)

magazine reflection

The assignment is about doing a magazine cover. For the assignment I was told to take notes on how to design the magazine cover. I had to go to open Adobe Photoshop (blue feather), go to file and put my

My cover looks beautiful in my eyes, theres rainbows in the background, nail salon, music studio, my nails design, and a hip-hop logo. If someone couldn’t see my magazine I would explain that the magazine if about expression with hip-hop and the nails design is a hobby I like to do a lot. The studio shows that I like to express my feelings and I want to record my feelings and send it to people who has the same emotions as I do, along wit the hip-hop I want to make my own beats wit what I express. The nails design show that Im a girl that’s into beauty and nails, and I enjoy working on nails.

Im communicating with females who like getting there nails done and people who are big fans of rap/hip-hop/r&b music. I tried communicating by having females look at new designs of nails to see if they like the style or a style that’s similar to it. The music is recorded by mean wit just a beat in a background and me specking out to the world and expressing my feelings (even if people don’t care im only making it for the people who feel the same way I do).

My work was exellent, it was creative and different from others. This artwork improved of what I want and prepearing to do for my life and future. Im happy that I get to  show my teachers and friends that im doing something creative and that’s apart of my future. There really isn’t anything I need to improve on the cover I like it the way it is.
